As a playlister, why do i have to authenticate my Spotify credentials?

We use Spotify Authentication, so you’re actually not giving us your login, you’re authenticating it through Spotify. Spotify Authentication is a process whereby you can give 3rd party apps access to your Spotify personal data, such as playlists, without ever giving us your actual login. This means we never see your login, rather you’re just giving us permission to use the data from your profile, so you can make changes to your playlists from our platform. We never make unauthorized changes to your account, and we’re trusted by over 5k of the leading curators on Spotify.

The reason we need this info is for you to be able to make changes to your account via our platform. We never allow for any unauthorized changes to be made on your account without verification.
